The Neil Young Football Academy (NYFA) comes to Adelaide! The NYFA was founded and is directed by former Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth professional Neil Young.

About Neil Young
Neil started his professional footballing career at Tottenham Hotspur, where he captained the youth side. He spent seven years at Tottenham before moving to AFC Bournemouth where he played over 500 games.
After retiring from the professional game, Neil relocated to Adelaide and established himself as a well-respected coach.
In 2009, in his first year as seniors coach, Neil guided Cumberland United FC to Grand Final victory and promotion to the Super League. For this achievement, he was awarded FFSA Coach of The Year.
The Academy
The NYFA is open to players in the U5/U6, U7/8, U9/10, U11/12, and U13/U14 age groups, with all participants being eligible for consideration to represent NYFA in the Adelaide Academy League (AAL) tournament. Additionally, players may be evaluated for potential involvement in interstate and international tournaments organised by the academy.

Considering joining the academy? Prospective players are required to express their interest by filling out the contact form available on our website, after which they will receive an invitation to participate in a trial. Upon acceptance into the NYFA Elite or Development programs, players will be issued a unique code for complete registration.
